The center of Typhoon Boluo Yi, the 20th typhoon of this year, made landfall along the coast of Ha Tinh Province, Vietnam around 1:30 am on the 29th. At the time of landfall, the maximum wind force near the center was 11 levels (30 meters per second), and the lowest pressure at the center was 980 hectopascals. At 5 o’clock in the morning, the center of “Boluo Yi” is located in Ha Tinh Province, Vietnam, at 18.4 degrees north latitude and 105.7 degrees east longitude. The radius of the seventh level wind circle is 220-250 kilometers, and the radius of the tenth level wind circle is 60-80 kilometers.
It is expected that “Boluoyi” will move towards the northwest direction at a speed of 25-30 kilometers per hour, and its intensity will rapidly weaken.
Gale forecast: from 8:00 on the 29th to 8:00 on the 30th, there will be 6-8 gales and 9-10 gusts in the west of the South China Sea, the sea area near the the Xisha Islands, the Beibu Gulf, Qiongzhou Strait, the coast of western Guangdong, Hainan Island and the coast, and the coast of Guangxi. Among them, the wind in the sea area south of the Beibu Gulf will be 9-10 and 11-12 gusts.
Precipitation forecast: From 8:00 on the 29th to 8:00 on the 30th, there will be heavy rain to rainstorm in southern Hainan Island, western Guangxi, southeast Yunnan, southern Guizhou, etc., of which, there will be heavy rainstorm (100~180 mm) in parts of southwest Guangxi, southeast Yunnan, etc.
It is estimated that from 8:00 on September 29 to 8:00 on September 30, there will be heavy to rainstorm in eastern Sichuan, northern Chongqing, southeast Shaanxi, northwest Hubei, southern Hainan Island, western Guangxi, southeast Yunnan, and southern Guizhou, among which, there will be heavy rainstorm (100~180 mm) in parts of southwest Guangxi and southeast Yunnan. The above-mentioned areas are accompanied by short-term heavy rainfall (maximum hourly rainfall of 30-50 millimeters, locally exceeding 60 millimeters), and locally have strong convective weather such as thunderstorms and strong winds.
